Privacy by design
On-demand only
Kestrel only runs when you ask it to. It never runs automatically or in the background.
Nothing saved
Suggestions aren't saved unless you add them to a record yourself. Kestrel's output is temporary until you decide to keep it.
Rate-limited
Usage is rate-limited per workspace to prevent abuse and keep costs predictable.
Audit-logged
Every Kestrel request is recorded in the audit log with who asked — never what was asked or answered.

How it works

Click a "with Kestrel" button when you want help — drafting a review, improving a goal, or preparing for a 1:1.
2. Kestrel reads
Kestrel reads only the records that feature needs — goals, review text, or 1:1 notes — from TalonHR's servers, never from your browser.
3. You decide
Review the suggestions, edit them, and add only what you want. Kestrel can be wrong; you're always in control.
Powered by Anthropic Claude
Kestrel uses Claude, a model made by Anthropic. Depending on how your workspace is hosted, requests go to either Anthropic's API or Amazon Bedrock. On Amazon Bedrock, requests are handled inside Amazon Web Services and Anthropic has no access to them.
The model provider does not use your data to train its models. Kestrel's suggestions are not saved unless you add them to a record yourself.
